Kathy Marie Jones

Kathy Marie Jones, 62, of Roanoke, Virginia passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 31, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Jones; parents, Harold Thorne and Betty Bryson; sisters, Ginger Thorne, Susie Fitzgerald, April Childress, Barbara Moore; aunt, Shirley Smith; sister-in-law, Debbie Payne Bryson.

Surviving are her children, Michael Thorne (Lisa), B.J Cundiff (Terry) and David Young (Sherry); brothers, George Bryson and Little Larry Fitzgerald (Tabitha); sister, Margaret Howard (Jimmy); friend, James Smith; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Lotz Funeral Home, 1001 Franklin Road, Roanoke. A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held 1:00 pm, Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Lotz Funeral Home, Roanoke with Pastors Gary and Linda Butcher officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery Buchanan, Virginia.
