Obituary for Janie Houston Kidd
Janie Houston Kidd age 86 of Glade Hill passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2019.
She was born on December 10, 1932 a daughter of the late Tom and Elsie Houston and was also preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Kidd; her son, Mike Kidd; sisters, Louise Hall and Estelle (Tootie) Martin; and her brother, Nick Houston.
Janie attended Glade Hill Baptist Church and was an avid outdoor person and she loved all animals. In her early years she was employed at DuPont and Doyle Enterprises.
Surviving to cherish her memory is niece Wanda Fralin; and nephews Dean Hall, Keith (Moose) Hall, Tommy Houston and Steve Houston.

Funeral Services will conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home (Town Chapel) 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2019 with the Rev. David Long officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday one prior to the service beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
