Jackson "Jack" Arnold Wainwright

Jackson “Jack: Wainwright, 78, of Vinton, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 4, 2022. He was born in Portsmouth, Va. to the late Walter Wesley Wainwright and Lizzie Neal Wainwright. He served in the Army Reserves for eight years where he taught communications. A graduate of Roanoke College, he owned Old Town Jewelers of Vinton. He loved working and spending time talking with his customers. He retired after 40 years for health reasons.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shelley Brown Wainwright; daughters, Shaina Stinard (Michael), and Sarah Munoz (Jose) and stepson, Matt Vaughan (Stephanie); and grandchildren, the joys of his life, Isabel Stinard, Sophia Munoz, Gabriel Munoz, Dakota Vaughan, and Aryal Allie.
