Claude "Hossfly" Thomas Wright, Sr.

Claude “Hossfly” Thomas Wright, 73, of Bedford, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude & Virginia Wright.

Claude enjoyed racing and camping. He was a truck driver most all of his life.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Geri Wright; children, Claude Thomas “Tommy” Wright, Jr. (Suzy) & April Joy Cooper; grandchildren, Brent Wright, Chase & Savannah Cooper; sisters, Deb Calmes (Jeff) & Helen “Smoky” Harris (Ken); nieces, Jesse & Maggie Calmes; brothers-in-law, Larry Holmes & Teddy Burford & special pup, Gizmo.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Pastor Wayne Murphy officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to service time on Thursday at Updike Funeral Home.
