Connie Susan Toler McGuire

Connie Susan Toler McGuire, 66 of Pembroke, VA departed this life on August 4, 2022 after a valiant fight with a short illness in the loving care of her family and Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  Born in West Virginia on July 18, 1956, she was a daughter of Kathleen Toler and the late Charles Toler.
Connie enjoyed nothing more than her family, shown by the work she did in her home and honing her craft while she worked in the earth with her hands, making all things beautiful with the flowers she would plant.
Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are her mom, Kathleen Toler of Blacksburg; husband, Michael “Mike” McGuire of Pembroke; son, Matthew McGuire (Mary Ann) of Pearisburg; daughter, Courtney McGuire of Pearisburg; grandchildren, Makayla McGuire, Madison McGuire, Aidan Schawalder, and Owen Schawalder; sisters, Drema Gates (Jim) of Alabama, and Judy Crawford (Dick) of West Virginia; and sister-in-law, Brenda Woodyard (David) of Little Creek, VA.
There will be a funeral service conducted on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at 3:00 PM in Kendall Funeral Home with Pastor Shahn Wilburn officiating. Funeral Services will conclude in the Mount Lebanon/Southside Cemetery.   The family will receive friends on Sunday August 7, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke, VA.  There is a guestbook available to send condolences by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com.  The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to serve the McGuire family.
