Jerry Wayne Nester, Jr., 30, of Bassett, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022. He was born in Greensboro, North Carolina on February 10, 1992 to the late Jerry Wayne Nester, Sr. and to Tammy Shumate Nester of Martinsville. He loved playing video games, liked cats, was outgoing, loved people and had lots of friends. He had been employed by Springs.
He is survived by in addition to his mother; his brother, Bryson Nester (Lindsey), step-sister, Brandy Pendleton; a niece, Emerie Nester and a special friend, Candence Alverson.
His service will be private.
