Barbara Lucas Saul

Barbara Lucas Saul, age 87, of Waynesboro, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. She was born in Roanoke, Virginia, the daughter of the late George and Marie (Jones) Lucas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years, Gene Saul, sisters Jackie Clinginpeel and Dean Accardi.

Barbara and her husband, Gene were long time owners of Holliday’s Shoe store in Staunton, Virginia.

She is survived by her three children Michael Saul and his wife Julie of Fayetteville, GA, Lisa Saul and her fiancé Greg Mausser of Orlando, FL, Jeffrey Saul and his wife Toni Lynn of Louisa, VA, grandchildren Abigail Saul and fiancé Bryce Pingel of Atlanta, GA and Lucas Saul of Fort Drum, NY; sister Francis Parkhurst of West Point, VA, brother and sister in law Johnny and Gwenne Lucas of Smithfield, VA, brother in law Pete Accardi of Bristol, RI, dear friend and caregiver, Karen Garber of Waynesboro, VA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are with Lotz Funeral Home in Salem, Virginia. Family will hold a private service at a later date.
