William "Bill" Ellis Foster

William Ellis (Bill) Foster age 82 of Glade Hill passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019 in Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
He retired from Cooper Wood Products and operated Foster’s Country Market up until his death.
He was born April 25, 1937 a son of the late Bennie and Ronaldia Foster.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Nancy Dillon Foster; his daughters, Wanda F. Green (Ricky) and Connie F. White (James); his granddaughter, Alexandra J. Mohler; sister, Mary McBride (Allen); brothers, Glenn Foster (Loretta) and Donald Foster (Ruby). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
It is requested that if you plan to come to either the visitation, funeral or both, please dress casual as this is what Bill would want.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in Sandy Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 11th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
