Clayton "Clay" Keith Puckett

Clayton “Clay” Keith Puckett, 67, of Spencer, Virginia passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born April 12, 1955, in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Elbert C. and Florence Ward Puckett. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Clay loved to tell stories and joke with his friends, loved to play his guitar and was always glad to eat at your table!

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Sandy Puckett.

He is survived by his son, Jon Puckett, (Leigh Anne); and a host of family and friends.

His funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2022, in the chapel of Wright Funeral Service, with Rev. Douglas Ramsey officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Ward Family Cemetery, on Marigold Road, Spencer. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
