Dorothy Jeanne Whitt Scullin

Dorothy Jeanne Whitt Scullin, 86, passed away at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem on Monday, August 15, 2022. She was preceded in death by husband, Edward M. Scullin; parents, Dick and Lyndal Whitt of Radford; brothers, Arnold F. Whitt and Emmett S. Whitt; sisters, Carrie Whitt Fisher, Joyce Whitt Berish and Molly Whitt Stone.
She was retired from the Naval Weapons Center in China Lake, California, retiring to Roanoke, Virginia.
Surviving are her son, John Edward Harris of Roanoke; step-sons, Laurence E. Scullin of Grand Island, New York, David V. Scullin of St. Catherine’s Ontario Canada, Matthew W. Scullin of Carson City, Nevada; grandchildren, Marissa Jeanne Harris and Sierra Lynn Harris, both of San Antonio, Texas, Christopher Scullin of Port Colborne, Ontario Canada and Bryce Scullin of Carson City, Nevada; sister, Barbara Whitt Johnson of Claytor Lake, Virginia; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private.
