Barbara Jean Dunn Crews

Barbara Jean Dunn Crews, 84, of Ridgeway, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022, at Mulberry Creek. She was born January 22, 1938, in Ridgeway, Virginia to the late Willie Martin Dunn and Mary Alice Bryant Dunn.

Barbara was a dedicated employee of Hooker Furniture and retired after forty-two years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ridgeway and loved her church. In her leisure time, she enjoyed spending time with her sister, visiting berry patches, fruit orchards, and vegetable gardens to pick their own produce. She also enjoyed tending to her flower gardens.

Barbara is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Ronnie Buford Crews; sister Nancy Carol Dunn Dyer; brother, George Wallace Dunn, Sr.; niece, Michelle Leigh Dye; nephews, G. W. Dunn, Jr., Victor Dunn, and Marty Dunn, Jr. and wife Lori; great niece, Kait Vanderlinden (Alex); great nephew, Drew Dunn (Stephanie); great-great niece, Oakley Vanerlinen; and great-great nephew Calder Vanderlinden.

Graveside services will be private.
