Ruby Evelyn Gauldin Hawks

Ruby Evelyn Gauldin Hawks, 83, of Collinsville, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at her residence. She was born September 12, 1938 in Callands, Virginia, to the late Robert Gauldin and Lillie Wilson Gauldin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hawks; and sisters, Mildred Riddle and Shirley Hawks.

She had been employed by Tultex Corporation for over 25 years, and was a member of Temple Baptist Church for over 40 years.

Mrs. Hawks is survived by her daughters, Vickie E. Hager (Jack) and Lisa D. Wilcox (Rich); son, Pastor Eddie H. Hawks (Pat); sisters, Nannie Simmons, Christine Martin, Betty Wiles, Virginia Bowman (Johnny), and Cindy Smith; brothers, Robert Gauldin, Randolph Gauldin (Kathy), and Raymond Gauldin; grandchildren, Zach Hawks (Christy), Hannah Sladek (Brandon), Grayson Hager, Lucas Hager, and Jonah Wilcox; and great-grandchildren, Carleigh, Hayden and Madelyn Hawks.

The Graveside Service will be Friday, September 2, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Roselawn Burial Park, 103 Clearview Drive, Martinsville, Virginia, with Pastor Don Reynolds officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
