Otis Whiteside, III

Otis Whiteside, III, 50, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away August 24, 2022, at UNC, Rockingham, Eden, North Carolina to the late Otis and Martha Dodson Whiteside, II. He had been a truck driver for over 24 years with Carolina Freight. He loved his family, cars, trucking and just life itself.

He is survived by his daughters, Brittany Little (Cory) and Tiffany Whiteside (Rico); a sister, Lisa Whiteside; and one grandchild, Jeremi Little.

There will be a floating visitation on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 4-6:00 PM in the chapel of Wright Funeral Service and his funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Wright Funeral Service with Bishop Michael Penn officiating the service; visitation will be one-half hour before to the service. Interment will be in the Dodson Family cemetery.
