William Lanigan

William Lanigan, Sr., 80, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection. He was born August 12, 1942, in Washington. He proudly served his country in the United Stated Navy. William was the owner/operator of Lanigan Electric. He was a Gold Glove Boxer in the Navy, was a master electrician, a great worker and loved the ocean and his dogs.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda McBride Lanigan.

He is survived by his daughter, Shannon Shough (Dean); sons, William Lanigan, Jr. “Butch” (Melissa Reid) and Jesse Jones Lanigan “Tinker” (Jennifer); brother-in-law, Walter McBride; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

All services will be private.
