Ellis Brent Crissman

Mr. Ellis Brent Crissman, age 75, of Siloam passed away Tuesday, July 4th, 2023 at Forsyth Medical Center. Brent was born June 21, 1948 to the late Ellis and Mae Crissman. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia Love Crissman. Also left to cherish his memory are his children, Beth and Daniel McCraw, Susan and Adam Duncan, and his precious grandchildren: Ally McCraw, Kate McCraw, Casen McCraw, and Lily Duncan. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Joy and Bob Hemmings; sister-in-law, Charlene Swaim; and his aunt, Geneva Mabe. In addition, Brent is survived by niece and nephews, Amy and Robert Myers, Chad Swaim, and Dan and Abby Hemmings.

Brent was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Joseph Larry Crissman, and brother-in-law, Bobby Swaim.

Brent retired from HanesBrands Inc. and Wayne Farms Poultry. He was a faithful member of Siloam Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and a member of the choir for 47 years. Brent proudly served in the United States Army. Brent loved gardening, golf, fishing trips with his buddies, and riding his grandchildren around on the farm.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 7th with visitation beginning at 12:30pm and the service to follow at 2:00pm at Siloam Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Faw and Rev. Jarred Seal officiating.
