Kenneth Tyrone Moore

Kenneth Tyrone Moore, 63, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 at his residence. Kenneth was born July 5, 1959 to the late Elmer and Juanita Hairston Moore. He was a 1978 graduate of Carver High School. Kenneth enjoyed playing chess, shooting pool, and hanging out with family and friends. He was employed at Miller Brewing Company for 10 years and with Tomlinson Funeral Home as a grave digger for 10 years.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by his brothers, Clifford Moore and Frederick Moore.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Deborah Moore; daughters, Keasha Anderson, sons, Kenneth Hairston and Keyon Hairston; sisters, Renita Moore and Flecia Williamson; brother, Emmanuel Moore; and 8 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 3:00 PM with Bishop Goode officiating. Visitation will be held one half hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
