Carolyn Sue LaBrie Quesenberry

Carolyn Sue LaBrie Quesenberry, 80, of Vinton, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at her home.

She was born in Roanoke on January 28, 1943 to the late Lewis R. LaBrie, Sr. and Maude Smith LaBrie.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jack Allen Quesenberry, Sr.; daughter, Dawn Dickson; stepchildren, Jack Allen Quesenberry, Jr., Steven Douglas Quesenberry and Donna Cooper; grandchildren, Mark C. Osborne, Jr. and Dylan Osborne along with several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

She was a graduate of William Fleming High School and retired from the Bedford County Public Schools as a school bus driver having worked 37 ½ years. She also enjoyed painting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mark C. Osborne, Sr.; brother, Lewis R. LaBrie, Jr. and stepmother, Phyllis LaBrie.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Oakey’s Vinton Chapel. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the Oakey’s Vinton Chapel. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
