Judy Lynn Bryant Slagle

June 7, 1958 - February 3, 2024

Judy Lynn Bryant Slagle, 65, of Appomattox passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at her residence. She was the wife of Roger Dale Slagle for 37 years.
Born on June 7, 1958, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of Landon Eugene Bryant, Sr. of Appomattox and the late Lilly Maxine Thomas Bryant. She was a member of Vera Church of God. Judy worked as a nurse at Virginia Baptist Hospital retiring after 32 years. She was known for her excellent patient care. Judy loved her Lord and was a true servant; the message of Christ’s love was preached through her life.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by two sons, Kevin Dale Slagle of Orange, TX, and Thomas Landon Watson of Appomattox; three daughters, Jennifer Franklin Jones, Asheley Bryant Slagle, and Breanna Slagle Deaver and husband, Seth all of Appomattox; fourteen grandchildren, Sierra, Austin, Tyler, and Colton Slagle, Matthew and Shawn Franklin, Devin and Dylan Jones, Nathaniel and Luca Watson, Lilly Ferguson, Mayer, Lennon, and Olivet Deaver; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Landon Eugene Bryant, Jr., and Darrell Wayne Bryant and wife, Connie; and two sisters, Cynthia Ford and husband, Gordon, and Mary Lee Bryant all of Appomattox.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, William Ophard Slagle, and mother-in-law, Mable Katherine Slagle.
A funeral service will be held 11 am, Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Vera Church of God with Bishop Thomas Landon Watson and Bishop Timothy McBride officiating. Burial will follow in Hollywood Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 pm, Tuesday, February 6 at Robinson Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
