Evelyn Reynolds

Evelyn Durie Reynolds, 90, of Lynchburg, died Wednesday, February 28, 2024. She was the wife of the late Clarence Rosser Reynolds.
Born in Appomattox County, June 6, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Dora Belle Godsey Durie and Winthrop Southwest Durie. Evelyn attended Jordan Baptist Church in Lynchburg. She worked many years as a seamstress working in garment factories in Appomattox and Lynchburg.
She is survived by her son Tommy Reynolds and wife Patricia; four grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, David Wayne Reynolds; daughter, Wanda Kay Reynolds; and two brothers, Leslie Wells “Bo” Durie and Harry Obie Durie.
