Thomas Randolph "Randy" Moore

Thomas Randolph “Randy” Moore, 63, of Gladstone, died Sunday, May 12, 2024.
Born in Lynchburg, July 17, 1960, he was a son of the late Martha Jennings and Marvin Watts Moore, Jr. “Sweet Moe” as he was affectionately known, was a member of Trinity Methodist Church. He was a lifetime member of Chestnut Mountain Hunt Club and a longtime member of the Appomattox Moose Lodge. He was an avid hunter and loved spending time at Paradise Lake Family Campground.
He is survived by two sons, Richard D. Moore (Jill) of Gladstone and Marvin Jay Moore (Jalenna) of Appomattox; one sister, Ida M. Burks and husband, Sam of Amherst; two brothers, Tony L. Moore of Gladstone and Brian Scott Moore (Donna) of Appomattox; six grandchildren, Michael Moore and wife, Sarah, Brian “Boogie” Watts,II, Elijah Moore, Gage Moore, Wyatt Moore and Buckley Moore; one great-grandson coming in September, Colsen; two aunts, Claudine Jennings Moore Horn and Christine H. Moore, both of Concord; special friend, Nannie Moore; and a special cousin, Jerry Allen Moore.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Lee Moore.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2024, at Trinity Methodist Church with Rev. John Flood officiating. Burial will follow in Rebecca Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Robinson Funeral Home and other time at his residence in Gladstone.
