Penny Thorne

Penny Lee Phillips Thorne, 59, of Appomattox, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 1, 2024. She was the loving wife of Randy Thorne for 38 years.
Born in Lexington, Virginia, on November 18, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Frances Edwards Phillips and Calvin Lee Phillips.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Joshua Paul Thorne and wife, Stephanie of Gloucester and Nicole Leah Shaw and husband, Troy of Appomattox; four grandchildren, Braxton Page, Arabella Thorne, Leah Pressley and Asher Thorne; and two brothers, Earnest Fisher and special friend, Laura of Staunton and Geofrey Phillips of Richmond.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Clarence Fisher, Jr.; and two heavenly grand girl twins, Emmeline Thorne and Coralie Thorne.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 6 until 8 p.m., at Robinson Funeral Home
