Clyde Spencer Page

January 27, 1944 - August 1, 2024

Clyde Spencer Page, 80, of Gladstone, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at his residence. He was the devoted husband of Cora Mae Phelps Page for 59 years.
Born on January 29, 1944, in Appomattox County, he was the son of the late George Washington and Virginia Lucado Page.
He was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. He retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation after 30 years of service. Clyde was a skilled mechanic who enjoyed fixing anything. He also loved to spend time outdoors gardening, fishing, hunting, and cutting grass.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two children, Cynthia Owen and husband, Gregory, and Timothy Page and wife, April; he was a proud “Papa” to his five granddaughters, Kelsey Brooks and husband, Gaige, Kacey McKinney, Erin Robertson and husband, Jaden, Karley McKinney, and Lacey Owen; his great-granddaughters, Blakely and McKenna Brooks, Violet Herndon, and arriving soon, Lorelai Robertson; and his siblings, Dorothy Harrison, Annie Steele and David “Frog” Page.
In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his siblings Lucille Durie, George (Mick) Page, Thomas Lewis Page, Glenwood Ned Page, Janie Martin, and Richard Page.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Tracy Kidd and Centra Hospice staff Diane, Wanda, and Christie for their compassionate care of Clyde.
A funeral service will be held 2 pm, Monday, August 5, 2024, at Robinson Funeral Home with Pastors Tom Walker and Doug Lee officiating. Burial to follow at the family cemetery.
The family will receive friends 4-6 pm, Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Robinson Funeral Home.
