Louis "Lou" N. Inzeo

May 16, 1939 - April 8, 2024

Louis Nelson Inzeo, beloved family member and friend won his final victory race on April 8, 2024, when he went to be with the Lord. Lou cherished the people in his life and will be remembered by them for his beautiful heart.
He loved his children and grandchildren very much. He is survived by two children, Louis Michael Inzeo and Nicole Rose, as well as seven grandchildren, Adam Rose, Alyssa Inzeo, Anna Inzeo, Anthony Inzeo, Angelo Inzeo, Ryan Bowman and Brendan Bowman.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, on May 16, 1939, he was the son of the late Louis and Faye Inzeo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert J. Inzeo; the mother of his children and wife of 30 yrs, Marie Elena Inzeo; his sister, Dorothye, and his significant other, Barbara Ann Bowman, with whom he built his farm with.

Lou was a prestigious member of the American Angus Association. He bred beautiful award-winning show cattle and has created a tremendous legacy. He took pride in creating a wonderful 50-acre farm that he named Windy Hill Farm. It was there that his cattle legacy began, although he spent many years on family farms as a child. His beloved Aunt Mary lived out her last years with Lou and Barbara at WHF (Windy Hill Farm). It was a spectacular piece of heaven on earth!

Lou was inducted into the Race Car Hall of Fame at the Garden State Vintage Stock Car Club in New Jersey for his famous #80 race car. He built it piece by piece in his autobody shop-Inzeo's Garage in Caldwell, NJ. The Inzeo 80 sedan was a winning race car at multiple tracks on the East Coast.
Lou also coached football and basketball for decades, and also spent time coaching at Fuqua School. He loved being with his teams. Coach Lou won many championships as he guided his teams and his kids to success!
Lou touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. He was a hero to so many. There will never be another like Lou Inzeo.
A memorial service to honor the life of Lou will be held at 11 am, Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Robinson Funeral Home officiated by Rev. David Sexton. Following the service, everyone is invited to join his family and friends to spread his cremains on his family farm, 667 South Fork Rd., Pamplin, VA.
