Fishing with Robert was something Gwen loved to do. She enjoyed being in the pool, crafting, and at age 50 picked up a paintbrush and created beautiful artwork, gifting many people with her original paintings and handcrafts. Attending conventions brought Gwen great pleasure, especially with Vampire Diaries/The Originals. Gwen's home was important to her, and she relished decorating for every holiday. All holidays were special to Gwen, particularly Halloween and Christmas, and she was well known for hosting a feast for family and friends. Gwen will be missed by so many who loved her. Her kindness and the way she nurtured and cared for others made us all feel special.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Brenda Yuille officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank Vitas Healthcare and especially McKenzie for their care for Gwen. Gwen had many caregivers who were there for her, including Robert, Cindy, Liz, Lisa, Laina, Debbie and especially her faithful dog Peanut, who would alert everyone if Gwen needed to get up or when she called for us.
