Robbie Covington Palmer

Robbie Covington Palmer, 62, of Suffolk, VA, died on Sunday, November 10, 2024. She was the wife of her best friend of 19 years, Keith Michael Palmer.
Born in Lynchburg, VA, on December 19, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy Ferguson Carter and James Otis Carter. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael Andrew Covington.
Robbie was employed by NexCom for 35 years.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth D. Pippins and Brandy M. Kent and husband, Aaron; four step-children, Amanda, Melvin, Courtney, and Phillip; five grandchildren, Andrew Tyler Covington (Kaila Nichole), Michaela Casper, Lucas Casper, Ayden Kent, and Austin Kent; and a great-granddaughter, Aurora Kaylin Covington; two sisters, Carolyn Swanberg and husband, Gerald and Polly Hansen and husband, Don; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 4 pm, Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Robinson Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Dr. Rusty Small and Pastor Jerry Childress. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
