Annie Ramsey Adams

Annie Ramsey Adams passed away one day shy of her 100th birthday. She was the wife of the late Walter Gunery Adams.
Born in Campbell County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Edward Ramsey and Daisy Wheeler Ramsey. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church of the Brethern in Harrisonburg, VA. Annie was a loving wife and mother. She was a beacon of kindness and grace, someone who lived her life deeply rooted in faith, love, and service. She shared sixty beautiful years with her devoted husband. She received her 70-year award for service and dedication to the Eastern Star.
She is survived by three children, Walter Edward Adams and wife, Eyde, Anne Marie Saunders, and Robin Adams Board and husband, Troy; five grandchildren, Leslie Adams, Lindsay Saunders, Jeremy Saunders, Blake Board, and Michael Board; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
A funeral service will be held 11 am, Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Robinson Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Henry Elsea, Jr. The burial will follow in Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
