Harry Ottoway Guill

Harry Ottoway Guill, 89, of Appomattox passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Runk and Pratt in Forest, VA. He was the husband of the late Barbara Ann Jamerson Guill.
Born on January 22, 1935, in Appomattox County, he was the son of the late Harry Wilson Guill and Nettie Torricelli Guill.
He is survived by two children, Tony Guill and Connie G. Godsey and husband, Freddy all of Appomattox; two grandchildren, Mary Ann Simpson and husband, Jady of Hardyville, and Michael Godsey and wife, Courtney of Appomattox; three great-grandchildren, Hayden Marshall, Beckett Godsey, and Briggs Godsey; and sister, Marilyn G. Scruggs of Lynchburg.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Freddy Guill, J. Richard “Dick” Guill, and Carlton W. Guill.
A graveside service will be held 11 am, Monday, November 25, 2024, at Liberty Cemetery with Pastor Todd Estes officiating.
