Sidney "Sid" St.Clair

Sidney "Sid" St.Clair, 82, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 21, 2019.  He was preceded by a son, Sidney "Jay" Allen St.Clair, Jr.; daughter, Leigh Horvath; parents, Cyril A. and Pearl Gray St.Clair; and his brothers, Roy, Charles and Virgil St.Clair
Sid retired after proudly serving in the U S Air Force for 21 years.  After his retirement from the Air Force he continued to serve the country by working at the Salem Veterans Administration Medical Center for 44 years.  He was an avid bowler and bowled in many tournaments with his son, Jay.
Surviving are his wife Deborah Pratt St.Clair; daughter, Aimee St.Clair; son, Aaron J. St.Clair; grandchildren, Lane, Jacob, Josie, Conner, Adrian, Lorena, and Taylor; and a brother-in-law, Nevin "Mick" Pratt and wife Shaun Stuart.
A celebration of Sid's life will be held 5 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road.  Pastor Mark Washington will officiate.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Simpson Funeral Home.  366-0707.
