Mary Alice Davis Doss

Mary Alice Davis Doss, 83, of Appomattox, passed away on January 29, 2025, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Garland Lee Doss.
Born on February 27, 1941, in Appomattox, Va, she was the daughter of the late Wilsie Price and James T. Davis. She was a former member of Pamplin United Methodist Church and retired from Courtland Manufacturing. Alice loved being with her friends listening to music and dancing.
She is survived by her son, Barry Doss; her brother, Dennis Davis; four grandchildren, Nick Doss, Nealy Doss and husband John Wyatt, Story Doss, Summer Goin and husband Alex; and seven great-grandchildren, Max, Cooper, Stella, Reed, Sansa, Mason, and Charlie.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Mitchell and two brothers, Leroy Davis and Pete Davis.
The memorial service will be held at 2 pm, on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Robinson Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Eric Hernandez.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home following the service.
