C. Faye Wood

Constance Faye Wood, 92, of Lynchburg, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Westminster Canterbury.
Born in Lynchburg, Virginia on August 12, 1932, Faye was the daughter of the late Vara Mitchell Wood and Holcomb T. Wood.
Faye is survived by her sister, Kitty Vaughan Hickman (Adrian), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Lois W. McWane and Sandra W. Farrar, as well as her brother, H.T. Wood, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025, in the Weissert Chapel at Westminster Canterbury, officiated by Reverend Kristie Miles and Reverend William P. Deal. Following the service, a reception will be held in the Hume Room.
