Edgar Paul Atkinson, 84, of Appomattox went to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. He was the husband of Edna Alice Atkinson.
Born on August 24, 1940, in North Carolina he was the son of the late Paul Atkinson and Rachel Garner.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Faye A. Pledger and Elsie A. Jinks; and a stepdaughter, Karin Sue Scholl and husband, John.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy and Rickey Atkinson.
