Claudine Jennings Moore Horn

Claudine Jennings Moore Horn, 87, of Concord, VA, died Thursday, May 22, 2025, at her residence.
Born in Appomattox County, on December 31, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Claude Emory Jennings and Lilian Gertrude Wooten Jennings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Irvin Watts Moore and John C. Horn, Jr.; a son, Kenneth Watts Moore; and three sisters, Alice J. Layne, Martha J. Moore, and Betty H. Shupe.
She is survived by a son, Irvin Leon Moore and wife, Marie; two grandchildren, Mundy Moore and Mandee Moore and fiancé, Rodney Womack; four great-grandchildren, Mason Irvin Moore, Brinleigh Faye Moore, Carrington Marie Womack, and Addisyn Elizabeth Womack; a stepdaughter, Lori Ann Webb and husband, Mike; two step-grandchildren, Rebecca Webb and Amy Shelton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Claudine was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, Concord. She retired from Appomattox County Public Schools as a school bus driver for 20 years and was a part-time farmer.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Trinity Methodist Church, officiated by Pastor Wyatt Cudd and Pastor John Flood. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the services in the church fellowship hall.
