Sandra Watts Franklin

Sandra Watts Franklin, 75, of Appomattox passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at her residence. She was the wife of Paul Russell Franklin.
Born on December 31, 1949, in Buckingham County, she was the daughter of the late Lena Watts Bryant. Sandra showed the love of God by serving others by cooking at the Gladstone YMCA and teaching Sunday school at Hollywood Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children Paul Gene Franklin and wife, Brittany and Connie Renee Franklin all of Appomattox; one grandson, Elijah Franklin; two step-grandchildren, Landon and Emily; and a nephew Hubert Watts, Jr.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Hubert Watts, Sr.; niece, Ann Johnson; and sister-in-law, Brenda Watts.
A graveside service will be held 2 pm, Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Hollywood Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Worley officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Friday, May 30, 2025, at Robinson Funeral Home.
