Jane Morris Perdue

January 12, 1939 - November 29, 2025

Jane Morris Perdue, 86, of Appomattox passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of Charles “Charlie” Loys Perdue for 68 years.
Born in Appomattox County, VA, on January 12, 1939, she was the daughter of the late John Edward Morris and Alice Mable Evans Morris. She was a member of Memorial Methodist Church. Jane retired from Courtland Manufacturing as a seamstress after 33 years of service. After retirement she helped on the dairy farm for 20 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Katherine Sue Wilson and husband, Derrick, and William D. Perdue and wife, Mary; four grandchildren, Terry Wayne Lawhorn and Christie, Kimberly Ann Lawhorn, Michael Perdue and Jessica, and Jacqueline Perdue and Alex; three great-grandchildren, Isabella, Brooklyn, and Maggie Jane; three siblings, James Morris, Joe Morris, and Rebecca Kugler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Ann Coles and Dorothy Fox; and one brother, Aubrey Morris.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Robinson Funeral Home with Dr. Mark Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Robinson Funeral Home.
