Bruce Hastings Griffin, Jr.

Bruce Hastings Griffin, Jr., 44, of Concord passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at his residence.
He was born on November 26, 1981, in Lynchburg, VA.
He is survived by his parents Bruce Hastings Griffin, Sr. and Mary Franklin Hamlett and husband, Lawrence “Lonny” Allen Hamlett, Jr.; three siblings, Tiffany Wilson and husband, Scott, Cyndal Hamlett and fiancé Rasha Calloway, and Caleb Hamlett and wife Kirsten; and nephews and nieces, Easton, Griffin, Jocelyn, Colton, and Bevy. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and a special circle of friends who became family at the lake.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Evelyn Griffin, Elmo and Isabelle Franklin, and Lawrence and Gail Hamlett.
A funeral service will be held 11am, Monday, March 2, 2026, at Beale Memorial Presbyterian Church with Rev. Kim Jeffreys and Rev. Bud Reid officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
