Dannie L. Nichols

Dannie L. Nichols, 76, died on Thursday, December 5, 2019. He was born in Franklin County on January 22, 1943 and was the son of the late Eldine Nichols and the late Lucy Holt Nichols. Dannie was also preceded in death by five brothers and one sister, as well as his partner, Nancy Keys.
Dannie is survived by his daughter, Michelle Nichols; son, William Nichols and wife Amanda; two step children, Ricky and Tonya; along with nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. In addition, he leaves behind two sisters, Nadine and Shirley, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dannie served his country in the United States Army and was a retired dump truck driver for a paving company.
The family would like to say a very special thank to Hallie Nichols for the love and care shown Dannie over the last several years.
