Esther Sweitzer Bryant

Esther Sweitzer Bryant, 79, formerly of Collinsville, Virginia passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart, Virginia. Esther was born October 31, 1941 in Richmond, Virginia to William Clayton and Virginia Louise Bowles Sweitzer. She was a graduate of Drewry Mason High School and attended Virginia Commonwealth University. Esther was a Realtor with Burch Hodges and Stone and Rives S. Brown for over 15 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Collinsville, Virginia.
In addition to her parents, Esther was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Handy; second husband, Russell Bryant and sister, Martha Williams.
Esther is survived by her daughter, Leah Bryant-Johnson; son, Jack Handy, Jr. (Novella); sister, Carolyn Coleman; grandchildren, William Bryant, Bridget Lawrence, Jacob Handy, and Sydney Handy; and 4 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Burial Park on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Larry Cheek officiating. The family will receive friends at the home at 486 Old Mill Road, Ridgeway, Virginia.
