Matthew Clifford Reed

Matthew Clifford Reed, 57 of Bedford passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020. He was born on Tuesday, November 6, 1962 in Winchester, VA, a son of the late William Turner Reed and Patricia Anne Moriarity Reed. He was a self employed Home Inspector and a member of Jordontown Church of God . He is survived by his wife, Tammy Crouch Reed of Bedford; a daughter, Drew Reed of Jacksonville, NC, a step-son, Adam Werle of Fredricksburg ; a step-daughter, Kayla Donahue & husband, Bradlee of Roanoke; grandsons, Jackson Donahue & Adrian Werle; brothers, Tommy Reed, John Reed, Mike Reed, & Mark Reed.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Jordontown Church of God with Pastor Michael D. Werle officiating. Interment will follow at Palestine Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Updike Funeral Home, Bedford.
