Jessie Ellen Trout Perdue

Jessie Ellen Trout Perdue, 62, of Narrows, VA went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 27, 2020 at Heritage Hall Blacksburg.  Jessie was born on November 1, 1957 in Flint, MI and was a daughter of the late Jessie James Trout and Vera Virginia Meredith Trout.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby Newton Perdue and a brother and sister.  Jessie was a 1975 graduate of Giles High School, she was a licensed cosmetologist and then went to work at the Celanese Corp. in Narrows from where she retired.  She is survived by one brother, Jeff Trout and wife Stacy of Dublin, two brothers-in-law, C.F. Perdue and wife Oneeda of Narrows, Jeff Perdue and wife Teresa of Narrows, two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Perdue and husband Richard of Narrows, Joyce Reed and husband Leon of Statesboro, GA, special niece, Wally Trout and special nephew, J.J. Perdue.  Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg with Pastor Bill Brown officiating.  The family would like to express their deep appreciation and sincerely thank her friends and health care workers who have assisted over the years, with special thanks to the Giles County Vol. Rescue Squad, the Narrows Vol. Fire Dept., the Town of Narrows Police Dept., the Giles County Sheriffs Dept. and to Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Blacksburg. “I have finished the work which You have given me to do.”  The family is being served by Givens-Riffe Funeral Service in Narrows, (540) 726-2442, and online at riffefuneralservice.com.
