Carla Gale Ragland

Carla Gale Ragland, 75, of Bedford, Virginia went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 30, 2020. She was born in Fontana Village, NC on May 19, 1944, a daughter of the late Frank Uriah Payne and Mary Irene Brady Payne of Knoxville, TN. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Wayne Robertson; and daughter Rhonda Robertson Mills. She was a pastor’s wife and a retired Juvenile Investigator. Carla is survived by her husband of 50 years, Rev. Earl Corbert Ragland of Bedford, Virginia; four children, Matthew Mark Robertson (Regina) of Lynchburg, Virginia, Robin Ragland Bass (Alvin) of Wilson, NC, Murdock Conrad Ragland (Margaret) of Bedford, Virginia, Earl Corbert Ragland II (Dale) of Charleston, SC; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
