William G. (for gorgeous) "Bill" Chitwood

William G. (for gorgeous) "Bill" Chitwood, 53, of Vinton went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 29, 2020. He was preceded by his father, John T. Chitwood, Jr.

Bill was a loving husband and father. His children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of his life.

Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Lori Chitwood; children, David Trent, Brittany (Andrew) Trent, Kasie Trent, William "Billy" Chitwood; grandchildren, Dylan, Ayden, Jericka, Landyn, Waylon, Brody, Jaxon, Harley, and Kyler; mother, Linda Morris; siblings, Monica Chitwood Zills, Becky Chitwood (Charlie) Nunley, Phillip (Sarah) Chitwood, John (Carrie) Chitwood, Eddie (Robin) Artutis, Lori Ferguson, Lisa Artutis, Richard (Shelly) Artutis, Charlene Shepherd, and Todd Berry; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2020 in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. There will be no public viewing or visitation. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
