Donna Marie Hazelet

Donna Romer Hazelet, 62 of Bedford, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020 at her residence. She was born on Wednesday, October 30, 1957 in Astoria, NY, a daughter of Jacqueline Ann Moran Romer and the late Robert William Romer.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, John Scott Hazelet, Sr.; her sons, John S. Hazelet & wife, Jessica, Jason M. Hazelet & wife, Rebecca; her grandchildren, J.T. Hazelet, Joseph Hazelet, Jordan Hazelet, Jason Hazelet; her great-Grandson, Lucas Hazelet; brothers, Robert Romer, Jr., David Romer, Glenn Romer; her sisters, Janet Gravannte, Bethel Marinite, Lisa Romer.

Donna was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her life, the people in her large family and the numerous friends she had. Donna grew up in Brick, New Jersey where she lived till retiring to Bedford VA in 2015. If you met her for the first time, she was your friend. She would always help and take care of everyone she knew who needed help, she was always there to comfort. She was a living angel and will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in New Jersey. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
