Carmelo Al Molluzzo
Carmelo Al Molluzzo, 87, of Appomattox and formerly of New York, died Monday, April 20, 2020, in Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born in New York, N.Y., on January 12, 1933, he was a son of the late Paulina Miletti and Luigi Molluzzo. He was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. Al worked in construction and also as an insurance claims adjustor.
He is survived by two daughters, Laura Molluzzo of Appomattox and Linda Molluzzo of Gwynn Island, Va.; two grandchildren, Jessica Prue and Joseph Molluzzo and wife, Nicki; four great-grandchildren, Isabella, Lawson, Easton, and Gianna; and a close friend, Mike Pagano.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Wehnke, and by the mother of his children, Trudy Knauss Molluzzo.
A private family burial will be held in Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia,
