Ruth McGuire Peck

Ruth McGuire Peck, 66, of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 19, 2020. She was a loving wife, mother, and Memaw. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Silas McGuire and Virginia Pearl McGuire; and sisters, Shirley Amos and Mary Whitescarver.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Louis Peck, Jr.; daughters, Crystal Rivers and husband Aaron and Sarah Taylor and husband John; grandchildren, Mason Rivers and Kate Rivers; brothers, Curtis McGuire and Jerry McGuire; and sister, Teresa Fralin.

The family will have a Celebration of Life Service on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at 1:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home with a Visitation from 12pm-1pm. The Visitation is open to the public. The Celebration of Life Service can be viewed "live" via the youtube link on www.simpsonfuneral.com. The family will accept flowers and/or donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
