Michael Rilley Hodges

Michael Riley Hodges, 65, of Rocky Mount, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born May 5, 1955 in Franklin County, Virginia, to the late Daniel Owen Hodges and Ida Katherine Hodges.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hodges was preceded in death by his sister Kathy Travis and brothers, Dennis and David Travis.

Mr. Hodges was a self-employed truck driver. He loved driving his truck, his grandchildren, and being with his family and watching baseball.

Mr. Hodges is survived by his wife, Janet Ellen Hodges; daughters, Melissa Dawn Provost, Crystal Gail Wheeler, and Lori Leigh Lund; son Michael Alexander Hodges; sisters, Sandra and Pauline; grandchildren, Ashley Provost, Bailey Provost, Carley Provost, Jayden Wheeler, Jacob Lund, Lily Lund, and Dellah Hodges.

Memorial services for Mr. Hodges will be held at a later date.
