Chelsea Faye White

- May 7, 2020

Cheslea Faye White, 32 of Moneta, passed away on Thursday May 7th and at that time we lost our precious daughter, sister, fiance, and friend and our lives will be never be the same. It was no secret that Chelsea struggled with her demons, but she had a heart of gold. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends. She will be forever known for her infectious laugh, beautiful smile, and those big green eyes. She was born on Earth Day in 1988 and was a hippie at heart. One minute it was a peace sign and the next it was the middle finger - there was no gray area with her. She was most talented at keeping us laughing even while making us insanely mad. She wore her heart on her sleeve and never hid her emotions....you always knew where you stood with her. If she told you she loved you, you knew she meant it and we pray she knew how deeply she was loved back. We only take solace in knowing that Chelsea, despite her struggles, knew and loved the Lord and that one day our salvation will make it so that we will be with her again. We have so many fond memories of family beach trips, holidays, and more inappropriate inside jokes than any normal family. She absolutely loved dolphins and the beach, but loved the mountains just as much.

She is the daughter of Elizabeth Webber Bowles and Norman “Chuck” Bowles.

In addition to her mother and father, she is loved by her sisters Carrie Underwood & husband, J.R., Cheri Bowyer & husband, Keith, and her baby brother, Charlie Bowles. She has four precious nephews Andrew, Austin, Parker, and Kody that thought the world of her.

She will be greatly missed by her fiance, Randy Surface and also leaves behind her two beloved dogs, Dixie and Whiskey, and her parrot, Max.

She is rejoicing in heaven with her Gran-gran and her soul sister, Johnnye.

The family will be planning a memorial celebration in the near future.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to the family through paypal: inmemoryofchelseabowles@gmail.com or donated to your favorite charity in her honor.

Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
