Betty Anne Huffman

Betty Anne Huffman, age 84 of Daleville, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Carrington Place.

Betty was born in Roanoke August 13, 1935 and lived in the Botetourt area all of her life. She was the daughter of the late Callie Armentrout and Cletus L. Wilhelm.

Betty worked in the cafeteria for Botetourt County Schools for 15 years. She was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, and enjoyed sewing, soap operas, bingo, and talking to her friends on the phone.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Wade Huffman, Sr.; her brother, Winfred Wilhelm; her two sisters, Stelma Downey and Nadine Nelson; and son-in-law, Billy Moore. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Ernest Wade Jr. and Betty Huffman, Jerry Huffman, Michael and Terri Huffman, Douglas and Patty Huffman; daughter, Lisa Moore; grandchildren: Ernest Wade Huffman, III, Samantha (John) Miller, Anitra (Kevin) James, Ryan Linkenhoker, Billy (Hayley) Huffman, Steven Huffman, Jaedyn Huffman, Passha Huffman, Nicole Huffman, Brittany Huffman; great-grandchildren: Morgan Miller, Dylan Miller, Noah James, Bailey James, Elijah James, Ellie Huffman, Lyla Huffman, and Stella Huffman.

The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday, June 11 at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road Daleville. A private graveside service will be Friday, June 12 at Trinity Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Justin White officiating.
