Sue Walker Ferguson

Sue Walker Ferguson, 70 of Huddleston, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born on Monday, October 10, 1949 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Linwood Walker and Minnie Myrtle Mitchell Walker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Claude Russell Ferguson.

She loved being by the water, spending time with her granddaughters, reading books and spending time with family and friends.

Sue is survived by her sons, Lynn Ferguson & wife, Andrea, Richard Carr, Jr. & wife, Denise, Michael Carr & wife, Chriss; her granddaughters, Victoria Carr, Stephanie Carr, Elizabeth Carr, Scarlett Carr; her sister, Reva Stanley; her brother, LeRoy Walker; her sister-in-law, Helen Walker as well as her friend, Bill Perigen and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at the graveside at Patmos United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 4:30 until 6:30 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
