Rose Marie Calhoun

Rose Marie Calhoun, 78, of Sanders Creek Road, Buckingham died Monday, June 15, 2020, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Willard Calhoun.

Born in Buckingham County, Va., on August 29, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Rosa Amos and Charles Duty. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church where she served as a lay leader. Rose was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Toga Fire Department.

She is survived by a nephew, Ray Duty, Jr. and wife, Allison; a niece, Karla Ellington; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers please make memorials to the Toga Volunteer Fire Department, 1779 Mt. Rush Hwy., Dillwyn 23936 or Bethel United Methodist Church, 376 Dixie Hill Road, Dillwyn, VA 23936.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
