He was born on June 23, 1944 in Lynchburg, Virginia to Lynette Nash Reynolds and William C. Reynolds.
Wayne worked for BWXT for 30 years and was also a Licensed Barber and belonged to the Appomattox Rangers Courthouse #1733 SCV Camp. He attended and was a member for most of his life at Spout Spring Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Susan Evans Reynolds; one brother Luther Reynolds and his wife Sue Reynolds; two daughters, Jennifer Reynolds and Libby Creasy; a step-son Christopher Evans; and step-daughter Pauline Osborne; five grandchildren, Austin Marcus, Allison Marcus, Madison Fink, Shawn Creasy, and Shane Creasy; and a great-granddaughter, Rhylyn Schmitt.
Wayne was predeceased by his daughter, Monica Reynolds and a brother Ralph Reynolds.
A private family graveside service will be held at Spout Spring Baptist Church Cemetery.
